Project Description:
The Environmental Sciences Division of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) invites qualified persons to apply for up to three Postdoctoral Research Associate positions.

The successful candidates will join a multi-disciplinary team of investigators undertaking broad, integrated approaches to enhance feedstock characteristics and productivity of bioenergy crops and to enhance belowground carbon sequestration. Focus areas of the research projects include auxin signaling and response pathway, phytochrome response pathway and cell wall biosynthesis pathway. Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in molecular biology, plant biology, biochemistry, genetics or related fields. The principal requirement is a demonstrated expertise in at least one of the three areas: gene expression, protein expression and interaction, and bioinformatics. Preference will be given to candidates with a relevant publication record. Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team are required.
